Major strides have been made at the new 1 Vision Solar headquarters in Pyle, Bridgend, where transformation efforts are well underway to create a state-of-the-art, sustainable base of operations for the fast-growing renewable energy company.
Following extensive groundworks and infrastructure preparation, the building has undergone a dramatic visual and structural overhaul. A large portion of the building has been re-clad, with modern, energy-efficient materials replacing the old façade. The roof has also seen a major upgrade, with outdated sheets removed and replaced by high-performance roofing panels designed to support the next phase of development—solar power.
That phase is now in full swing. This week, solar panels were successfully installed on the newly refurbished roof, marking a major milestone in the project. The new PV system will enable the headquarters to generate a significant portion of its own electricity, further cementing 1 Vision Solar’s commitment to leading by example in the clean energy sector.

“We're proud of the rapid progress made on site,” said a spokesperson for 1 Vision Solar. “This headquarters represents more than just a place of work—it reflects our values as a company and demonstrates what’s possible when sustainability is at the core of every decision.”
The solar array is expected to generate clean electricity to power the facility’s operations and contribute to the grid during peak production hours. Additional energy-efficiency upgrades, including improved insulation and smart energy management systems, are also planned in the next phase.
With construction continuing at pace, the company anticipates full relocation to the new site later this year.
